Drake & Farrell has received the Gold Rating from EcoVadis. The certification was awarded to us this month based on the development in sustainability we have made as a company on the various EcoVadis themes.
EcoVadis is a large collaborative platform on which sustainability achievements are shared. For certification, EcoVadis evaluates how CSR principles in terms of environment, labour & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement are applied within a company. Based on the findings, a score is determined, which then ensures that a bronze, silver, gold or platinum certification is awarded.
With our sustainability mission and more than 15 years of experience in creating circular supply chains, this gold certification confirms that we are a frontrunner in this field within the sectors, electric mobility, telco, electronics and healthcare.
Development from silver to gold certification
In 2020, 2021 and 2022, Drake & Farrell achieved silver certification. With this, we showed determination and commitment to systematically improve our sustainability performance. By making progress on the various themes and, in doing so, having developed particularly within the themes of environment and labour & human rights, we have now been awarded gold certification.
The auditor from Ecovadis says: “Drake & Farrell has implemented an exceptional policy that integrates commitments and qualitative and quantitative objectives on key environmental issues.”
For example, in terms of the environment, we use efficient lighting systems & equipment for heating, ventilation and air conditioning. We also hold environmental certifications BREEAM and WEEELABEX and have an active policy on waste. In the area of labour & human rights, for example, we are committed to diversity, equity and inclusion alongside our targeted and continuous employee training and education.
