About the job
As a Supply Chain Planner, you are responsible for improving the efficiency of internal processes and increasing customer satisfaction by working closely with various functions within the SCS department and the organisation.

Your role involves coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that products are available to meet customer demands. The Supply Chain Planner is crucial in balancing supply and demand, optimising inventory, and supporting overall operational efficiency.

Your main responsibilities include:
•Demand Planning: Analyse sales forecasts and historical data to predict future demand. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop accurate demand forecasts.
•Order Fulfillment: Coordinate with warehouse and distribution teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Prioritise orders based on customer requirements and inventory availability
•Process Optimisation: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency. Use data analysis and best practices to streamline operations and reduce costs.
•Supply Coordination: Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods. Manage purchase orders, track shipments, and resolve any supply issues that arise.
•Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production, logistics, and customer service, to ensure alignment and effective communication across the supply chain.
•Data Analysis: Utilise inventory management software and other tools to analyse supply chain data. Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making and strategy development.
•Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels. Implement strategies to minimise excess inventory and reduce stockouts.
•Compliance: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Maintain accurate records and documentation.

What do you bring?

  • Minimum HBO working and thinking level, preferably a completed education in the logistics field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position and working environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities, focusing on prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, CRM/ERP systems, and other applications. Knowledge of Dynamics 365 is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English. Communication skills in Dutch is a plus.
